Where is the LOVE?

Here the eyes not care for another soul.
The heart's plea has none to heed.
Fingers touch,
They do not feel!
On friendship's name ,
Company indeed.

You think with your heart?
You are insane.
Why burden yourself with another heart's pain?
Live your life and enjoy it!

The thinking brain overtakes the heart.
Emotions & feelings left far behind.
The going gets tough in this concrete world....
Love hath lost its way mankind!

Well, I don't agree with this completely, my reason is simple because I personally has experienced the Love.

When I was doing my engineering, I always used to think that I will get married not before the age of 28, thinking pretty much like the super practical modern boy, but then at the age of 23, I met this girl with whom I completely "rose in love"(yes , for me Love is not about falling its about rising thats why I said rose). Today at the age of 25 I m happily married. Love changed me, not my greed for anything else like career or money( its not that I dont care about those things but nothing mattered to me more than love).

Its just a perception that people are changing their attitudes toward love today but I believe there has always been people in both the categories- 1. Who kept Love above all and 2. Who Kept everything else above Love.

Hope you will agree with me.
Anyway, nice topic to discuss though, God bless!!

Hi Vivek..
Am obliged that you took time out to discuss the piece and my thoughts.
CONGRATULATIONS on being one of the lucky few who have found love in the real true sense.
By God's grace I am also one of the lucky few gals who are pampered with love!
But what I suppose you haven't observed in the piece that I was discussing the love that should exist between friends..
Not the kind of love that we find in our lifemate..
I was trying to express how friendship is slowly losing meaning and shrewd selfishness is replacing selfless love!
Just clarifying what I was thinking when i penned..
Thanks a ton once again!

Hey Again,

Congratulations to you too and thanks!!
I might have ran away with my thoughts in completely different direction while I was reading your post but thanks for clarifying again.
FRIENDSHIP is definitely losing its sheen. I don't want to talk much about the shrewd selfishness but LOVE( love as in with the soul mate), which surely do some damage to the amicable love. There is an example coming to my mind, which I would share here- I and my best pal had spent a lot of time together, the golden times but when we found a girl, we wanted to spend more time with her. Even though, we never felt that it's causing any differences to our relationship but I think, the ground reality is actually it did. After all, my total time was divided between two people as compared to one earlier and above all, we both wanted to give each other the space with our girls. Still we had a lot of group dates together but somewhere I felt that we could not do that Boyish talks to each other at those moments. Nevertheless, true friendship never goes off and I still have my best pal, but I confess somewhere in life Friendship suffered because of love.
Probably, we should discuss THE SOUL MATE LOVE VS THE AMICABLE LOVE.

Anyway, I have already said so much :). Putting breaks now !!

Love & Peace

If the brain can overtake heart so easily, imagine the role of money?
